NovoConsult was founded in 2019, to help organisations of all sizes respond to change driven by internal or external forces.
With over 30 years experience working in the design and construction of major transport infrastructure projects throughout UK, US, Ireland, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, and New Zealand, and senior delivery roles for a range of New Zealand and Australian client organisations and government agencies, we’ve been involved in the creation and improvement of New Zealand’s largest infrastructure assets.
This work, and the natural beauty of New Zealand’s land and culture, inspired the formation of NovoConsult – with our mission:
Balancing social and economic development with Kaitiakitanga – the guardianship of our finite natural resources of sky, sea and land.

Volunteer Work
We consider ourselves very fortunate to be able to give something back to an industry that has grown our business, taken us all over the globe, and allowed us to be embraced by new lands and cultures – finally bringing us here to the country of New Zealand.
Our activity in volunteer organisations in New Zealand has lead to: the formation of the New Zealand Tunneling Society in 2017, with Bill as founding chair; rejoining New Zealand to the International Tunneling Association (ITA) as a member nation in 2018; and our election to the Governance Council of the ITA in 2022.

NovoConsult is small so we’re careful who we work with, to make sure we are a good fit with your needs. We tend to work for client organisations, insurers and contractors in the Australasian region primarily that are looking for strategic partners in resolving complex issues and situations.
In addition, the relationships we’ve formed over years enable us to meet large project requirements by collaborating and partnering with larger firms that have a global footprint. So don’t hesitate to reach out – we are always keen to discuss new ideas and opportunities.
