Our projects, many of which have to stay confidential, span the largest in New Zealand to international scale projects in Australia, Asia, Europe and the US. We like to travel light, and we’ll take you with us. You’ll be glad you did. Here are some of our recent local projects.

The original railway was built between the late 1880’s and the mid 1920’s.
To accommodate modern containers we lowered and strengthened the tunnels that spanned the transition between brick-lining and concrete lining.
We’re proud to have contributed to the rejuvenation of the Northland Railway.
CLIENT: HDI
The City Rail Link, Auckland
In 2020, we assisted HDI the lead insurer by providing Risk Engineering services for this iconic city-shaping project.

This included a flood preparedness plan on behalf of the insurers (which greatly reduced impacts despite the unprecedented intensity of Auckland’s rainfall in January 2023), the use of electric MSV’s, and managing the progression of the TBM through ground anchors of adjacent basements.
The CRL project has won multiple awards, including the Arthur Mead Award, Decarbonisation award, highly commended award for Excellence in Social Outcomes, and the highest rating for Infrastructure Sustainability design. A great project to be part of.

Our scope of works involved: procurement of the contractor provision of technical services, including survey and digital engineering to collate the information developed during the investigation phases and monitoring of construction; a LIDAR scan of all the assets; geophysical surveys; concrete sampling and testing; and construction supervision of contact and TAM grouting works, to increase the resilience of the asset.
We’re proud to provide cost effective solutions for this 80MW scheme that is a key part of the Manawa portfolio.
There are several other challenging and excellent projects we have helped with, including: the Central Interceptor Project in Auckland; the Hobson Bay sewer replacement in Melbourne; the National Archives Building in Wellington; the Bridgewater Bridge in Tasmania, and the DC/2020/05 Shatin Caverns in Hong Kong – but we hope this selection gives you the flavour of our work.
